Data Scientist

Overview

Data Scientist to develop ETL pipelines and perform process/task mining to generate and refine accurate process models in IBM Process Mining.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract data from enterprise systems.
• Transform raw data into structured event logs and case tables for IBM Process Mining.
• Load event and transaction log data and configure activity, case, and timestamp mappings.
• Collaborate to identify data gaps, refine extractions, and rebuild process models iteratively.
• Ingest and process desktop activity/event logs from task mining tools.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and normalization for quality inputs.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data integration.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, joins, and transformations across relational databases.
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with event logs, transaction logs, or time-series data.
• Familiarity with process mining event log structures including case ID, activity, and timestamp formats (XES or equivalent).
• Ability to work iteratively as requirements evolve based on model outputs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
