Data Scientist, Applied AI/ML

Overview

Data Scientist role focused on building next-generation AI/ML technologies, including LLM-driven applications and research in AI safety and red-teaming for cybersecurity use cases.

What you'll do

• Develop innovative solutions for AI safety and cyber detection.
• Co-develop end-to-end R&D across data sourcing, data labeling, modeling, evaluation/benchmarking, and product-ready collaboration.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design efficient, maintainable solutions.
• Drive LLM-related R&D in partnership with security experts for reasoning, summarisation, and interactivity.
• Manage trade-offs across accuracy, efficiency, and operational costs for fielded AI/ML models.
• Lead and architect research strategy for new GenAI agents/LLMs, setting technical direction.

What you'll need

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of applied machine learning/research experience with production-grade model development.
• Deep expertise in LLM training or post-training/deployment at scale.
• Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring and driving technical strategy.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, deep learning frameworks, and cloud technologies.
• Expert-level understanding of GPU technologies and optimization techniques.
• Outstanding communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
