Database Administrator

Overview

Database Administrator role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, including installation and ongoing maintenance.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems.
• Install database management systems (DBMS) and develop day-to-day maintenance procedures.
• Monitor database performance and implement efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues to maintain integrity and performance.
• Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
• Proficiency in Aveva OSIsoft PI is required.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
• Familiarity with database security best practices and access control mechanisms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization.
