Overview
Administer and support relational, graph, and document database platforms across on-premises and Azure environments. The role also supports Azure Data Factory pipelines, SSIS packages, production incidents, and service continuity.
What you'll do
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and MongoDB platforms.
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, tuning, backup, recovery, and high-availability support.
- Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
- Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory pipelines.
- Develop, deploy, and support SSIS packages for integration, migration, transformation, and scheduled processing.
- Review schemas, queries, indexes, execution plans, data models, and deployment scripts.
- Participate in production support, rotational on-call duties, maintenance, and disaster-recovery exercises.
What you'll need
- 5–6 years of hands-on database administration experience.
- Strong administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL in production environments.
- Experience supporting Neo4j and MongoDB, including security, backup, recovery, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning, query analysis, indexing, and system optimization.
- Proficiency with T-SQL and familiarity with PostgreSQL SQL and scripting tools such as PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Azure data services, Azure DevOps or comparable deployment practices, and IT service-management processes.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and process-improvement skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, or Azure data certifications.

- Location: Hyderabad, India.
- Weekend or after-hours maintenance and production support may be required.
- Rotational on-call duties are included.
