Overview
Deputy Manager - Digital Engineering to lead Industry 4.0, connectivity, and digital engineering initiatives for smart manufacturing and data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do
- Implement Industry 4.0 and Connected Industry solutions across manufacturing and logistics.
- Develop machine connectivity and IIoT solutions using industrial communication technologies.
- Support MES/MAS deployment, data integration, and digital shopfloor initiatives.
- Create dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI/Tableau.
- Drive AI/ML, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and automation projects.
- Develop digital engineering solutions including data modeling, simulation, and digital twin concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smart factory and digital transformation projects.
What you'll need
- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science).
- 6-8 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop moderation skills.
- Proven project management and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0/smart manufacturing, including MES/MAS and manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT) and machine connectivity.
Nice to have
- MBA/M.Tech in a related field is preferred.
- AR/VR is preferred.
- RPA, Automation, or AR/VR knowledge is listed as preferred.
