Overview
Support engineering design and successful project delivery by conducting technical analyses, improving ways of working, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality, productivity, and project goals.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement engineering procedures, techniques, and work sequences that improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Conduct engineering analyses and apply scientific principles to create and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with design, development, and production teams to align activities and achieve delivery targets.
- Identify project risks, understand quality requirements, and implement processes that support successful project execution.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance within your area of expertise.
- Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities when required.
- Balance quality, productivity, and delivery objectives while working independently on engineering activities and improvement initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in Catia.
- Experience conducting engineering analyses and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of engineering processes, quality requirements, and risk management practices.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to support, coach, and guide colleagues within your area of expertise.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence others through technical expertise.

Nice to have
- Knowledge of Paper or Tissue mills.
- Engineering experience from the heavy machine industry.
