Job description
Overview
Design Engineer for electro-mechanical product development, focusing on complex system design, modeling, and integration.
What you'll do
- Lead design, modeling, and integration of complex electromechanical systems.
- Design PCBA enclosures and cabling assemblies.
- Manage the design process from concept to DVT stage.
- Technically project manage multiple design projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion.
- Use DFMEA, ECN, and ECR processes in the design workflow.
- Perform technical calculations relevant to mechanical engineering.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Solid Edge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Design.
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal and complex assemblies.
- Experience creating drawings and BOM content.
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter for product lifecycle management.
- Sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector.
