Developer Experience Contractor

Overview

Developer Experience Contractor (12-week summer internship) to build agentic AI infrastructure that improves how engineers ship software.

What you'll do

• Build agentic workflows that analyze software delivery pipeline signals and offer actionable guidance.
• Develop automated tooling to detect build/test reliability patterns and drive corrective action.
• Create AI-powered features that turn technical signals into plain-language summaries and recommendations.
• Build a conversational agent interface to help engineers resolve build issues via natural interactions.
• Integrate across developer tooling to connect multiple data sources into a cohesive developer experience.
• Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code for sustained use beyond the internship.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Some experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, or another modern backend language.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems.
• Some exposure to working with APIs and structured data formats.
• Interest in AI/LLM-powered tooling and excitement about agents/tool-calling.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate proactively.

• Location: Bengaluru, India.
• In-office: two days a week required.
• Engagement: 6-month contract starting January 2027.
