Developer Relations

Overview

Developer Relations at Anthropic helps developers discover, onboard, and get the most out of Claude Code, Claude Tag, and future developer products. You will shape how developers adopt Claude by combining hands-on technical work, community engagement, and feedback loops into product and research.

What you'll do

• Shape how developers discover and engage with Anthropic developer products using hands-on feedback.
• Build frameworks and mechanisms to measure developer success aligned to business and safety goals.
• Prioritize community and content initiatives based on data and developer feedback.
• Partner with product and engineering to ensure developer needs inform the roadmap.
• Generate technical content such as sample apps, tutorials, documentation, and integration guides for responsible use.
• Collaborate across teams to translate developer feedback into product and content initiatives.
• Support developer-focused campaigns and lead developer events, workshops, and community activities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer experience, or technical product/engineering roles.
• A track record of shipping content or tools that measurably grew a developer ecosystem.
• Ability to deeply understand AI/ML and API concepts for different audiences.
• Hands-on capability to write production-quality code demos and review developer samples.
• Insight into developer psychology and how to reach developers through effective channels.
• Commitment to developing AI responsibly, including interest in AI safety and ethical considerations.
• Capability to influence across teams without direct authority through strong relationships.

Details

• Annual salary range is stated as $290,000–$435,000 USD.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Work mode is hybrid with an expectation of being in an office at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is available, with reasonable efforts to support if offered.
