Overview
Staff+ full-stack software engineer owning end-to-end product and platform experiences for Claude across consumer and enterprise use cases.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end technical quality across the stack, including performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineering managers, and researchers to build features based on new model capabilities.
- Build platform ecosystem capabilities, including commercial rails and controls (e.g., to turn Claude usage from cost to revenue).
- Build beneficial deployment tooling and product work to make frontier AI usable for resource-constrained teams.
- Develop vertical AI products for industries including Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Healthcare.
- Improve enterprise adoption by identifying activation blockers and building capabilities to close gaps.
- Work on enterprise foundations such as identity/permissions, security/compliance controls, and admin analytics.
What you'll need
- Minimum 8 years of practical full-stack engineering experience.
- At least 2+ years operating at Staff (or equivalent) technical leadership level (ideally).
- Experience leading design and delivery of complex consumer or B2B user-facing products across the full stack.
- Technical expertise in modern frontend and backend development, including depth in React and TypeScript.
- A product-focused approach to building robust, scalable, and easy-to-use solutions.
- Experience in early startup or fast-moving environments and ideally building products from 0 to 1.
- Experience establishing engineering standards, component architectures, and development best practices.
Details
- Annual salary range: $405,000–$485,000 USD.
- Location preference: NY, NJ, SEA, SF, or Bay Area.
- Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
