DevOps & Backend Software Engineer Intern (Undergraduate)

Overview

Undergraduate DevOps & Backend Software Engineer Intern for a 13-week paid internship with a remote option. You’ll work with engineers and Product Managers on infrastructure, backend services, and AI-supported development workflows.

What you'll do

• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain backend components and internal developer tools in C#.
• Use modern AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to streamline development and automate workflows.
• Partner with senior engineers to learn CI/CD practices and modern DevOps standards in an agile environment.
• Leverage Azure for cloud infrastructure and related backend tooling.

What you'll need

• Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Have completed at least the Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship.
• Have foundational experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and C# through coursework or projects.
• Have familiarity with Microsoft Azure (or general cloud computing concepts).
• Have basic knowledge of Python, Helm charts, or AI agent frameworks is stated as a plus.
