DevRel Engineer, Agentic Infrastructure

Overview

DevRel Engineer working with Vercel product teams to build and showcase the company’s agentic infrastructure platform, including AI Gateway and Sandbox.

What you'll do

• Build agents and applications on AI Gateway and Sandbox before they ship.
• Create demos, templates, and open source projects based on what you learn.
• Teach developers via writing, talks, videos, and live coding.
• Shape product launches through example repos, launch demos, and docs contributions.
• Track how developers build agents across the ecosystem and where they get stuck.
• Participate in planning meetings with PMs and engineering to address rough edges before launch.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in engineering, DevRel, or DX roles.
• Software you can point to.
• Experience building and shipping AI applications or agents.
• Knowledge of tool calling, model routing, and sandboxed code execution.
• Strong TypeScript.
• Ability to work in the Next.js and AI SDK ecosystem.
• A public body of work (talks, posts, open source, or videos).
• Experience turning a half-finished API into a working demo and clear explanation quickly.
• Evidence you’ve changed a product roadmap with developer feedback.
• Ability to report to the Head of AI Infrastructure.

Details

• Role can be located anywhere.
• If within a predetermined commuting distance of SF, NY, London, or Berlin, includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday even if listed as remote.
• Application requires including a link to something you made that taught developers something.
