Overview
Director of Compute Infrastructure Procurement Operations responsible for building and leading procurement operations that procure, track, and govern compute infrastructure assets at scale within the Finance org.
What you'll do
- Own supplier strategy, cost optimization, and category management for compute infrastructure procurement.
- Operationalize multi-entity, domestic and international procurement structures.
- Lead Asset Lifecycle Management procurement workstreams including Asset Taxonomy and three-way match.
- Manage procurement operations for data center sites across the US with international expansion.
- Run BOM-to-PO reconciliation, equipment logistics, shipping coordination, and delivery tracking.
- Build procurement controls and enforce ASN compliance on new POs.
- Stand up and lead a lease administration function including platform implementation and landlord billing.
What you'll need
- Have deep domain knowledge of compute infrastructure components such as servers, networking, storage, and power/cooling.
- Experience managing capital-intensive procurement portfolios including negotiation, category strategy, and vendor consolidation.
- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes, purchase order governance, and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience in SOX-compliant environments with understanding of ITGCs, ICFR, and financial control frameworks.
- International procurement experience including entity structuring, customs/export controls, and VAT/GST recovery.
- Proven process improvement, systems implementation, and workflow automation experience in high-growth environments.
