Director of Product Design, Partnerships

Overview

Director of Product Design for Partnerships and Platform at Ethos, leading and elevating product design for the B2B2C channel and platform teams.

What you'll do

• Lead design for Partnerships and Platform across agent onboarding/activation, quoting, applications, and sales.
• Lead design efforts spanning agent growth/retention, compensation, enterprise/agency management, partner integrations, and underwriting.
• Mentor and grow a small team of product designers.
• Partner with Research to discover and prioritize opportunities and collaborate with Product and Leadership on roadmaps.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing and related teams to shape end-to-end journeys for agents, agencies, and their clients.
• Serve as Design Site Leader for Ethos India.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of product design (UX) experience.
• Several years leading multi-person design teams.
• 2+ years of start-up experience requiring fast decision making.
• Experience evaluating ambiguous product problems using intuition, UX, and measurement.
• Experience working on B2B2C, gig economy, or products serving a range of company sizes.
• Proven ability to design complex, decision-heavy user journeys (e.g., fintech, healthtech, or insuretech).
• Strong understanding of conversion optimization, user motivation, and behavior design principles.
