Overview

Director, Product Design based in Bangalore, leading product design strategy and team scaling. Partner with Product and Engineering to drive enterprise UX and design excellence.

What you'll do

• Recruit, mentor, and retain a product design team for career growth.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership to define the long-term design roadmap.
• Ensure deliverables meet high standards for craft, usability, and visual consistency.
• Establish and refine design processes to move fast while protecting user experience.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of complex product areas with quality and consistency.
• Advocate for design across the company, bridging technical complexity with usability.
• Lead research and validation as core parts of the design cycle to stay customer-centric.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of relevant product design experience.
• At least 5+ years in a formal people management role.
• Portfolio demonstrating leading teams through complex problem-solving and launches.
• Ability to communicate with PMs and Engineers, understanding design impact on business and technical debt.
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills for executive-level communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design (Product, HCI, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in HCI or an MBA is a bonus.
