Director, Software Engineering

Overview

Director, Content Engineering (Software Engineering) leading the technology organization for GHX’s Content Engineering portfolio. Oversees geo-distributed delivery for Content Workbench, Price Workbench, and Contract Management services.

What you’ll do

• Lead strategic direction, planning, and execution for Content Engineering leaders and teams.
• Deliver business and customer-focused roadmaps for the Content Engineering portfolio.
• Lead geo-distributed engineering organizations to deliver key Content solutions.
• Mentor geo-distributed leaders and build cross-geo high performance organizations.
• Develop relationships across organizational levels as a trusted leader with strong communication.
• Manage budgetary decisions for technology solutions and forecast future technology needs.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant area.
• 15+ years of Software Engineering experience in a SaaS environment.
• 7+ years’ experience in an Engineering Leadership role.
• Experience building and leading geo-distributed teams to deliver critical roadmap items.
• Deep experience in SaaS/cloud services, data, and system architecture.
• Experience building mission-critical SaaS/cloud-based services.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines including security/code quality scans, unit testing, and automated testing.
