Director, Technology Engineering & Innovation (TE&I) – India

Overview

Lead Micron's India-based Technology Engineering & Innovation organization in Hyderabad, covering infrastructure engineering, operations, automation, reliability engineering, and service management. The role owns organizational scale, operational excellence, infrastructure modernization, and collaboration with global technology leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead managers, engineers, architects, operations teams, and technical specialists across India.
• Scale teams supporting network, cloud, database, infrastructure, automation, observability, SRE, and global operations.
• Drive reliability, resilience, service quality, automation, and operational maturity.
• Partner with global leaders on infrastructure strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Lead adoption of automation, AIOps, AI-enabled operations, and platform modernization.
• Manage budgets, staffing plans, resource allocation, and infrastructure investment planning.
• Build leadership depth through succession planning, coaching, mentoring, and development.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, technology engineering, and operations.
• 8+ years leading managers and senior technical leaders.
• Experience leading infrastructure, engineering, operations, or platform organizations in semiconductor or product-based technology companies.
• Experience leading organizations of 50+ professionals.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, networking, automation, observability, SRE, and service management.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling large technology organizations in India.
• Experience with cloud transformation, automation, SRE, AIOps, and platform engineering.
• MBA or master's degree in a relevant field.
