Educational Consultant - Per Diem – Montgomery, AL

Overview

Educational Consultant (Per Diem) supporting K–8 educators through on-site professional development and training coordination in Montgomery, Alabama.

What you'll do

• Facilitate high-quality professional development, training, and support for teachers and school leaders.
• Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for educators and administrators.
• Adjust professional development workshops within specified parameters to match participant needs.
• Help educators analyze data and apply it to instruction, including lesson planning and pacing support.
• Deliver training on implementing Ready and i-Ready to support equitable classroom learning.
• Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Engage in internal coaching and improvement cycles, including being observed and receiving feedback.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2+ years of experience teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for Grades K–8 (including content and practice standards).
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments.
• Ability to discuss and apply data with teachers and leaders.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles for meeting professional development learning objectives.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.

Details

• Based in Montgomery, Alabama; must live in or be open to relocating.
• Per diems are scheduled on an as-needed basis and paid hourly.
• Travel up to 80% is required; must have own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Start date: ASAP.
