Educational Consultant - Per Diem - North Alabama

Overview

Educational Consultant (Per Diem) for North Alabama who facilitates professional development and on-site training for teachers and school leaders.

What you'll do

• Facilitate professional development, training, and support for teachers and school leaders.
• Deliver on-site product training and professional development courses for educators and administrators.
• Perform data analysis and help educators apply data to instruction.
• Adjust professional development workshops within specified parameters to fit participant needs.
• Present tailored on-site support, including lesson planning and pacing support.
• Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments on time.
• Engage in internal improvement cycles including being observed, receiving feedback, and being coached.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of Common Core State Standards for grades K–8 (content and practice standards).
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments.
• Understanding of principles of adult learning to meet learning objectives.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Details

• Location based in North Alabama; candidates must live in or be open to relocating to North Alabama.
• Travel up to 80% with possible overnight stays.
• Per diem, scheduled on an as-needed basis; paid hourly; start date ASAP.
• Company-provided laptop; mileage reimbursement may be available; must have own transportation.
