Efs-MRO Engineer (Technical Author - APAC Powergen)

Overview

Create and manage technical publications and multimedia documentation for Powergen engines and systems in the APAC region. Coordinate external partners and cross-functional teams to deliver content aligned with company guidelines.

What you'll do

• Analyze technical documentation requirements for the APAC market.
• Evaluate documentation orders from the business unit.
• Develop and approve technical publication content and acceptance limits.
• Coordinate QL manuals and spare parts catalog creation across APAC.
• Perform quality checks and coordinate projects with external partners.
• Create and update style guides for multimedia content.
• Steer external partners producing graphics and multimedia content.

What you'll need

• bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical, automation engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in technical publications.
• At least 5 years of technical writing experience in a content management system.
• Knowledge of component and system functionality.
• Ability to handle complex, novel, and ambiguous tasks.
• Experience with SAP, Windchill, a CMS tool, or Creo.
• Ability to work with external partners under stringent delivery timelines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of diesel and gas engines and gensets.
• Experience creating 3D manuals and animations.
• Experience creating guidelines.
• Experience supporting or leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
