Electrical Designer (Power Transformer)

Overview

Design and engineer power transformer products and documentation based on customer requirements, specifications, timelines, and assigned KPIs.

What you'll do

• Understand customer requirements during quotation and project execution.
• Create order designs and engineering documents aligned with specifications and cost targets.
• Verify designs using engineering tools, standards, and customer requirements.
• Manage project documentation and requirements in ERP.
• Identify and mitigate risks during solution development.
• Participate in design reviews and optimize engineering solutions.
• Plan and monitor assigned projects against KPIs.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of industry experience in electrical design of power transformers.
• B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of power transformer design.
• Knowledge of Indian and international electrical standards and codes.
• Ability to work on cross-functional engineering topics.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• M.E., M.Tech, or M.S. in High Voltage, Power Systems, or Electrical Machines.
• Knowledge of 2D or 3D CAD software such as Creo or MagNet.
• Knowledge of 2D or 3D FEM for electrostatic or electromagnetic simulation.
• Experience with optimization and cost-saving projects.
