Electrical Designer –Creo-Schematics

Overview

Electrical Designer responsible for schematic design and development for electrical systems used in applied chiller products.

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical control panels for chiller-related electrical systems.
• Create load calculations, load lists, and component selections based on system requirements.
• Build and select application-wise panels and equipment in line with UL standards.
• Analyze power circuits, MCC, VFD, controllers, overload relays, and junction boxes.
• Coordinate with project leads, product design teams, and overseas clients.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of design releases for assigned projects.
• Travel onsite for prototype testing and coordination if required.

What you'll need

• BE in Electrical/Electronics/E&TC/Instrumentation or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical schematics design and panel equipment selection per regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in Creo Schematics (2D & 3D) and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Windchill.
• Exposure to BOM structure, engineering change process, PLM, and SAP & Windchill.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment selection (e.g., disconnect switches, fuses, MCB, controllers, VFD).
• Ability to design and develop electrical control panels and enclosures for manufacturing needs.
