Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

Senior Electrical Project Engineer responsible for end-to-end electrical design and execution for automation projects in material handling systems.

What you'll do

• Manage electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed electrical designs for power distribution, control systems, and electrical components.
• Create electrical drawings including power calculations, cable calculations, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Design control diagrams using industrial communication technologies such as PROFINET and AS-i.
• Use AutoCAD and EPLAN to produce electrical engineering documentation and manufacturing drawing packages.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning activities, including troubleshooting and commissioning checklists.

What you'll need

• 9–13 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering/project execution.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and industrial communication networks (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, TCP/IP, Serial, AS-i).
• Experience with power calculations, cable calculations, cable tray design, BOM preparation, and electrical enclosure design.
• Knowledge of electrical installation and electro-mechanical commissioning.
