Lead Application Engineer I

Overview

Lead Application Engineer I will support pre-sales engineering for Security System global projects, following country-specific standards and ensuring quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Review project inputs and specifications to capture scope and understand requirements.
• Review MEP drawings and identify equipment for Security System domains.
• Prepare bills of material and perform network and cable calculations for Security Systems.
• Create costing sheets, technical write-ups, block diagrams, deviation charts, and cost comparison charts.
• Participate in project kick-off/review meetings and maintain compliance, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure quality assurance and on-time deliverables while escalating issues with evidence when needed.

What you'll need

• BE in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
• Strong knowledge of Security Systems including Access, Video, Intrusion, and complete ELV systems.
• Expertise in Security Guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and OPC.
• Preferred 9+ years of relevant experience in Security Systems.
