Lead Application Engineer I - APAC Security Pre-sales

Overview

Lead Application Engineer I to support APAC security system pre-sales engineering, including bid preparation, costing, and technical reviews against country-specific standards.

What you'll do

• Support pre-sales engineering for Security System APAC projects following country-specific standards.
• Review project inputs/specifications and capture project scope and requirements.
• Review MEP drawings and identify equipment for Security System components (Access, Video, Intrusion, ELV).
• Create bills of material and cost estimation components (backend/controllers/field devices, software, network, cable calculations).
• Prepare costing sheets, technical write-ups, block diagrams, and comparison charts for bids.
• Ensure quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll need

• BE background in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
• 11+ years of relevant experience in enterprise-level security systems (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of security systems including access, video, and intrusion, and ELV systems.
• Expertise in security guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), plus Blue Beam and GroundPlan.
• Knowledge of network protocols including Wiegand and OSDP.
• Written and verbal communication proficiency and leadership skills.
