Lead Application Engineer

Overview

Lead Application Engineer focused on supporting pre-sales engineering for BMS Controls & CPM System India projects and preparing bid inputs, cost estimates, and project deliverables.

What you'll do

• Support pre-sales engineering for BMS Controls & CPM System India projects using vertical-specific standards.
• Review project inputs/specifications and capture project scope and requirements.
• Review MEP drawings/specifications/SOP to identify controls-system-related equipment and integrations.
• Prepare bills of material, costing sheets, and technical documentation (charts/write-ups/block diagrams).
• Participate in project kick-off/review meetings and maintain compliance/deviations/risk logs and minutes.
• Ensure quality, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction; escalate issues with evidence.
• Handle network/connection and cable & cable tray type/length calculations for controls/CPM system.

What you'll need

• BE in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
• Strong knowledge of controls systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, PHE, fire, plant room, and third-party systems.
• Expertise in BMS & CPM controls sequence of operation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Knowledge of network protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and OPC.
• Written and verbal communication skills plus leadership skills.
• Certifications on PLCs and DDCs; quick learning and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Fire Detection System design and estimation.
