Overview
Sr. Structural Project Engineer to independently manage steelwork design, detailing, estimation, and coordination for airport projects.
What you'll do
- Lead and oversee structural steelwork design, detailing, coordination, and approvals for airport, parcel, and industrial projects.
- Act as primary technical authority for steelwork engineering aligned to customer requirements and contractual obligations.
- Review contractual requirements and technical specifications during sales, bidding, and engineering phases.
- Support bidding and proposals with steel tonnage estimation, budgeting, supplier evaluations, and structural analysis.
- Coordinate steelwork activities with internal teams, clients, suppliers, fabricators, consultants, and engineering partners.
- Provide technical guidance to site installation teams to ensure code- and spec-compliant steelwork execution.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
- 5-9 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in steelwork.
- Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D design/detailing software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, Ram Connection, Tekla Structures).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Sound knowledge of American and British steel design codes, standards, and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
