System Engineer

Overview

System Engineer role focused on custom industrial refrigeration and gas compression system design and project engineering deliverables.

What you'll do

• Participate in customer quote preparation and verify component selections for HVACR system equipment.
• Review compression system designs for compliance with engineering principles, standards, contract requirements, and codes.
• Review and interpret applicable codes and standards including ASME, CRN, NFPA, AWS, and IBC.
• Select system components and generate P&ID diagrams while coordinating with Mechanical Design Engineers.
• Perform calculations, conduct design reviews, and develop custom documentation for project execution.
• Review and approve production drawings and provide recommendations to improve design and cost/efficiency.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience with gas processing rotary equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in writing and other presentation formats.
• Working experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software.
• Safety-conscious approach and strong attention to detail for assigned work and objectives.
• Willingness/ability to travel to customer, site, or supplier locations approximately 10–20%.
