Electrical Engineer

Overview

Electrical Engineer role focused on supervision and execution of LT/HT power distribution work for projects in Assam.

What you'll do

• Supervise and execute LT/HT power distribution works.
• Plan and monitor 33kV/11kV lines, substations, and distribution networks.
• Inspect electrical installations and perform quality control as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and utility authorities.
• Prepare and review BOQ, DPR, and technical reports.
• Monitor site progress and report to project management.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

What you'll need

• Have a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Have 3–8 years of experience in power distribution projects.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Know Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) standards.
• Use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understand IS codes, CEA regulations, and safety norms.

Nice to have

• Experience in state utility/DISCOM projects.
• Experience in government/PSU power projects.
• Familiarity with GIS-based distribution systems.
