Engineer II - Software Development

Overview

Engineer II - Software Development responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software features and services.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable software features and services with clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude) to improve productivity, code quality, and design reviews.
• Lead technical analysis, solution design, and effort estimation for assigned features and workstreams.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams on technical roadmap and architecture decisions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements, automation, and DevOps best practices.

What you'll need

• Hands-on software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or similar modern languages.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Agile development, and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of system design, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-scale, transaction-intensive environments.
• Preferred exposure to airline, travel, or enterprise-scale technology platforms.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered developer tools to enhance engineering productivity and software quality.
