Engineer -PHE & Fire (MEP)

Overview

Engineer role focused on PHE & Fire (MEP) design and execution, including plumbing and firefighting systems, design reviews, and routine engineering assignments.

What you'll do

• Perform specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments.
• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Work on routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered using modified standard methods.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Complete primary design elements independently and perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of total experience in plumbing & fire fighting design.
• Be well versed with Revit.
• Have awareness of international codes such as NFPA, ME codes, IPC.
• Have a Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Be experienced in GDC type of environment (3-6 years of relevant experience stated).
• Should have knowledge of ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations.

Nice to have

• Data centers and healthcare experience.
• Experience working in GDC-type environment.
• Experience in UK region.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of energy modeling software such as eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE.

Details

• Location: Gurugram, HARYANA, India.
• Hybrid work requires working from an AECOM office at least three days per week.
• Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
