Overview

Engineer role focused on Modem-RF Wireless software, developing and validating embedded and edge software for Qualcomm modem-RF wireless chipsets.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, modify, and validate Modem-RF wireless software for Qualcomm modem-RF wireless chipsets.
• Develop and validate modem-RF driver software in collaboration with RF hardware and modem/baseband teams.
• Create, develop, and optimize modem and RF transceiver and RF front-end algorithms and software modules.
• Provide driver expertise for investigations of complex RF and modem issues in a cross-functional hardware/software environment.
• Work with physical layer teams to deliver new features and help maintain modem performance.
• Collaborate with RF/modem systems, hardware, and test engineering during product development cycles.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience (modem-RF wireless SW level).
• Knowledge of RF and digital communications.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Understanding of RF and/or communications systems and knowledge of digital communications and RF theory.
• Software programming and debugging skills in C and/or C++ on embedded real-time operating systems/RTOS.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
