Engineer- Flow & Thermal

Overview

Engineer- Flow & Thermal performs flow and thermal analysis for electrical products to predict thermal performance and support engineering design decisions.

What you'll do

• Conduct flow & thermal analysis for switchgear/UPS/circuit protection devices/transformers.
• Develop and validate analysis models to substantiate engineering designs.
• Partner with teams in India, Europe, US, and China to understand design intent.
• Handle medium-complexity technologies including conjugate heat transfer, flow estimation, and electronics cooling.
• Develop digital prototypes to mimic product physics and predict key CTQs.
• Support simulation requests and manage workload with SMEs.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Applied Mechanics.
• 0–1 years experience (as indicated).
• CFD knowledge.
• Heat transfer knowledge.
• Fluid mechanics knowledge.
• Simulation tool expertise.
