Engineer, Senior Staff

Overview

Lead strategic automotive software programs and provide technical authority for software-defined vehicle platforms. The role combines platform architecture, customer engagement, system-level problem solving, and cross-functional technical leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead strategic automotive OEM and Tier-1 programs.
• Drive platform readiness, customer initiatives, and release milestones.
• Lead end-to-end software and platform architecture discussions.
• Investigate complex hardware, firmware, kernel, middleware, and application issues.
• Drive root cause analysis for customer escalations and production blockers.
• Advise customers through architecture reviews, workshops, and technical deep dives.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads across multiple technology areas.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in embedded, automotive, and platform software development.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience with OEMs, Tier-1 customers, and cross-functional engineering organizations.
• Experience in platform architecture, system integration, and complex issue resolution.
• Knowledge of AAOS, Linux Kernel and BSP, QNX Neutrino, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with debugging techniques.
