Senior Staff Engineer-NPI ( Electronics)

Overview

Senior Staff Engineer for NPI in electronics, leading technology transfer from design to mass manufacturing and ensuring readiness across contract manufacturers.

What you'll do

• Lead the NPI process for new product development and technology transfer into mass manufacturing.
• Drive manufacturing, material, and test readiness at contract manufacturers.
• Conduct DFx reviews and process capability checks to meet quality standards.
• Structure and maintain new product BOMs and create assembly work instructions and procedures.
• Implement ECNs and manage deviations across manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and vendors.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, and SCM to resolve issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Engineering in EEE/ECE.
• 13+ years of experience in NPI program management.
• Hands-on PCBA and box builds experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of commodities including PCB, sheet metal, and cable harness is required.
• Knowledge of PLM concepts including BOMs, ECN, and deviations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams and time zones.
