Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Manufacturing

Overview

Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Manufacturing is a production supervisor role responsible for daily operations, operator training/certifications, and continuous improvement within an assigned production zone.

What you'll do

• Manage induction, training scheduling, and training plans to develop team autonomy.
• Monitor operator certification and update flexibility grids in real time.
• Oversee daily operational control including absenteeism, safety rule enforcement, and performance-board updates.
• Ensure workplace standards are followed for safety, work instructions, quality, and 5S during operations.
• Conduct daily OJT on standards and ensure health, safety, environmental, and site rules for the perimeter.
• Lead production performance management (SQCDM and inventory targets) and drive corrective actions with support.
• Run continuous improvement activities (action plans, PDCA/FTA, 5 WHYs, Kaizen/VPS workshops) and lead safety QRQC for category 7.

What you'll need

• Be responsible for induction of newcomers and training actions (including temporary workers).
• Be able to analyze skills/flexibility needs and define training plans.
• Ensure enforcement of health, safety, environmental and site rules for the APTs within the perimeter.
• Execute standard work practices including TPM (red tags for abnormalities, inspection/cleaning, 1st-level preventive maintenance, QRQCs).
• Measure equipment performance (cycle time, microstoppages) and perform time-measurements.
• Support continuous improvement methods including PDCA/FTA and Maintenance 5 WHYs.
• Prepare and present data for APU QRQC (Quality, DL efficiency, Maintenance).
