Engineer - Systems Design & Studies

Overview

Engineer for Systems Design & Studies within the FACTS Solution Line, focused on power system studies and simulation for STATCOM/FACTS projects.

What you'll do

• Perform detailed power system studies for STATCOM and FACTS projects.
• Conduct insulation coordination, harmonic analysis, and transient/overvoltage studies.
• Develop and validate simulation models for STATCOM and SVC.
• Prepare technical reports, study documents, and customer presentations.
• Coordinate with control, protection, primary engineering, and commissioning teams.
• Interface with utilities, consultants, and customers for technical discussions and approvals.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Power System Studies.
• 1–2 years of experience specifically in STATCOM/FACTS projects.
• Experience with PSCAD, PSSE, or Dig SILENT for engineering studies.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BTech/MTech/PhD), preferably power systems.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time.

Nice to have

• Additional exposure to RTDS, EMTDC, EMTP-RV, or hardware-in-loop testing.

• Based in Noida, India with remote working flexibility.
