Engineering Lead Analyst

Overview

Lead storage infrastructure engineering and operations across SAN, network-attached, software-defined, and object storage environments. The role covers service stability, engineering configurations, automation, compliance, and high-impact incident resolution.

What you'll do

• Lead storage infrastructure operations, engineering configurations, and deployments.
• Create project plans, perform impact analyses, and resolve high-impact technical issues.
• Drive root cause analysis after storage, network fabric, or replication incidents.
• Design testing approaches, reporting processes, and automation for repetitive tasks.
• Forecast hardware capacity and recommend infrastructure enhancements.
• Apply patches, upgrades, firmware changes, and management-tool updates.
• Provide technical direction and coach lower-level analysts and virtual teams.

What you'll need

• 12–15 years of relevant storage engineering or operations experience.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent relevant working experience.
• Expertise with storage platforms, SAN technologies, replication, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including IBM AIX, Red Hat, and Windows.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting or programming using Python, Perl, Shell, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Experience in financial services or a large, complex, or global environment.
• Project management, analytical, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Ansible certification is stated as a required certification.
