Overview
Senior Automation Developer leading end-to-end delivery of governed low-code automation solutions.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end delivery of automation solutions from discovery and design through release and steady-state operations.
- Lead stakeholder workshops to define future-state workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Design integration patterns using connectors, APIs, and data services (e.g., Dataverse/SQL) with enterprise requirements.
- Engineer resiliency with standardized exception handling, structured logging, alerting/notifications, retries, and proactive monitoring.
- Define and evolve reusable assets and team standards (templates, child flows, libraries, solution packages, framework components).
- Establish quality practices (unit/integration testing, peer reviews, test evidence) and drive defect remediation through UAT.
- Provide operational readiness outputs (solution designs, runbooks, support models) and lead incident triage/root-cause analysis.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience developing and supporting automation solutions using low-code platforms (Power Platform and/or UiPath).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with connectors/integrations (REST APIs, HTTP actions, webhooks) and data sources (Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, SAP/ServiceNow or similar).
- Working knowledge of platform governance and ALM, including environments/solutions/connection references/DLP policies and guardrails.
- Scripting/coding skills to extend automations (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or C#).
- Practical understanding of authentication/authorization (service accounts, OAuth, MFA) and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Ability to produce technical documentation suitable for regulated environments (solution designs, data mappings, test evidence, runbooks).
