Lead Software Engineer - Automation Anywhere

Overview

Lead Software Engineer (Automation Anywhere) responsible for hands-on enterprise RPA automation engineering using Automation Anywhere Automation 360.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise automations using Automation Anywhere Automation 360.
• Build and troubleshoot Automation Anywhere bots, including debugging and production support.
• Translate functional requirements and solution designs into maintainable Automation Anywhere bots.
• Develop automations across web, desktop, Excel, databases, files, APIs, enterprise applications, and legacy systems.
• Implement exception handling, retries, recovery, logging, alerting, and configuration management.
• Develop and integrate automations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and SQL database operations.
• Manage production defects via root-cause analysis and support deployments and post-production validation.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software development, automation, or RPA experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Automation Anywhere experience, preferably with significant Automation 360 experience.
• Strong experience developing, debugging, deploying, and supporting Automation Anywhere bots.
• Good understanding of Automation 360 components including Control Room, Bot Agent, Bot Runner, queues, schedules, and triggers.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/MySQL) or equivalents.
• Working knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, or .NET.
• Current/active applicable Automation Anywhere certifications are expected (Advanced Professional required for P3).
