Engineering Manager - AI-Native Email App

Overview

Engineering Manager role for leading an engineering team building and scaling products used by millions across the region.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas with speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to execute on ambiguous problems.
• Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and reliability.
• Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, and prevent repeat issues.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading or managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Strong technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make architecture decisions and trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Track record taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
• Strong people leadership for coaching, performance management, and building teams.
