Engineering Manager – Indonesia

Overview

Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team building and scaling products used by millions across the region.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas with reliability and technical quality.
• Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to execute on ambiguous problems.
• Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Monitor production outcomes post-release and resolve incidents with root-cause ownership.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make sound architecture and trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Track record taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
• People leadership for coaching engineers and building high-performing teams.
• Comfort reviewing designs and debugging complex production issues.
