Engineering Manager - AI Payments App

Overview

Engineering Manager who leads engineering teams building and scaling products used by millions of users across the region, from idea to production.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas with reliability and technical quality.
• Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to turn ambiguous problems into execution.
• Drive technical architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background with experience shipping real production systems.
• Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Track record taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
• Comfort reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and debugging complex production issues.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and performance management experience.
• Strong product sense connecting engineering decisions to customer and business outcomes.
