Engineering Managers

Overview

Engineering Manager role leading end-to-end Cloud data engineering implementation for Azure-based solutions.

What you'll do

• Oversee and guide data engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Analyze complex data systems to identify improvement areas.
• Set project timelines and quality standards for deliverables.
• Implement innovative technologies to streamline processes.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

What you'll need

• Have 6-12 years of hands-on experience.
• Have 6+ years working in Azure ADLS, Data Bricks, Data Flows, HDInsight, and Azure Analysis services.
• Have experience managing teams.
• Have mandatory experience with Hadoop and Spark.
• Have expertise extracting data from sources like flat files, XML, JSON, and Parquet.
• Have knowledge of Snowflake and SQL including joins, groups, functions, and stored procedures.
• Create and verify unit and integration test plans.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake.
