Engineering Program Manager

Overview

Client-facing Engineering Program Manager for Broadcom’s Payment Security division, responsible for managing programs and ensuring successful implementation and support for clients, with 3D Secure expertise emphasized.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the payment industry.
• Create and manage the lifecycle of Statements of Work (SOW).
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Assess plan risks and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to mitigate them.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including service accounting, legal, product, customer success, engineering, and technical support.
• Generate regular program progress/performance reports and provide data-driven improvement recommendations.

What you'll need

• 8–15 years of program manager experience in the software industry with client-facing experience (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of payment security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills.
• Project management expertise with tools including Microsoft Project, Clarity, Rally, Oracle Engagement Cloud, Oracle CPQ, and Wolken-soft.
• Ability to assess and mitigate security risks.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the payment security industry focused on 3D Secure technology.
• Knowledge of compliance standards including PCI DSS, EMVCo, and PSD2.
• Certifications in program/project management such as PMP or PgMP.
