Overview
Engineering Project Director (Level 7a) responsible for building and scaling future-state capital project capabilities within Project Controls, aligned with workforce strategy.
What you'll do
- Lead a centralized, analytics-driven delivery model for project and portfolio cost management, Source-to-Pay, and capital equipment analytics.
- Ensure AIN capabilities are integrated into the global execution model for project delivery performance.
- Drive productivity and cycle time reduction through process optimization, automation, and data standardization.
- Lead the AIN Project Controls organization delivering cost management, source-to-pay, and analytics services across global capital projects.
- Standardize project controls processes, tools, and data structures for consistent delivery.
- Implement digital solutions (e.g., Power BI, automation, risk analytics) for data-driven decision-making.
- Build and lead a high-performing team across Cost Management, Project Coordination, and Equipment Analytics.
What you'll need
- Experience with global project controls, capital-portfolio forecasting, cost optimization, finance transformation, or digital transformation.
- Working knowledge of cost forecasting, estimating, budgeting, benchmarking, cost management, scheduling, and work breakdown structures.
- Strong technology and data fluency, including data strategy, architecture, databases, data modeling, governance, and master data management.
- Familiarity with data engineering, data science, algorithms, predictive analytics, scenario modeling, automation, and AI/ML.
- Experience partnering with enterprise technology teams on data ownership, system integration, APIs, and cloud data platforms.
- Exposure to technologies including Databricks, SAP, SQL, Python, R, GitLab/GitHub, VS Code, and React.
- Experience with procurement, Source-to-Pay, supply-chain data, SAP project data, and financial systems.
