Engineering Services Practitioner

Overview

Assist with end-to-end aerospace engineering services and develop technical solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Design, analyze, and build 3D harness routing, structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes across the engineering lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design 3D harness routing and secondary structural brackets, assemblies, and system installations.
• Create and manage digital models of harness layouts incorporating brackets, supports, and installation features.
• Apply client standard wiring harness design principles and criteria for compliance, manufacturability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate routing paths, resolve spatial conflicts, and optimize harness placement.
• Own routing tasks and deliver solutions with minimal supervision while adhering to program timelines and technical requirements.
• Develop and validate service bulletin Preparation Dossiers and SAMM files.
• Define and deliver engineering definitions for Close-to-Known modifications, including product structure impacts covering MSI, ESI, Structure, and Equipment.
• Develop modification proposal intent box drafts per sub-ATA with PRE/POST engineering descriptions for retrofit solutions.
• Develop Embodiment Instruction Documents for retrofit.
• Execute eDRS-based engineering activities for service bulletin preparation, including configuration validation, PRE/POST solution definition, and dataset completion.
• Interpret engineering design data, including FD, wiring, and 2D/3D models, and translate it into structured outputs.
• Support service bulletin production and embodiment activities, including validation, stakeholder coordination, and technical query resolution.
• Perform technical approval and signatory activities for system-level engineering datasets, ensuring compliance with client standards and service bulletin requirements.
• Execute independent validation of FD, ePD, and 2D/3D DDS design data for configuration consistency and completeness.
• Develop complete electrical retrofit design solutions in 2D, 3D, and Full 3D, including DS, PS, DMU models, and detailed drawing packages.
• Develop 2D/3D electrical equipment installation design solutions, including DS, PS, DMU models, and detailed drawing packages.
• Execute end-to-end service bulletin preparation activities, including engineering data collection, configuration analysis, and dossier creation.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 8+ year(s) of experience is required.
• 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Electrical Harness Design & Electrical Harness Installation.
• B Tech/M Tech in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 15 years full time education.
• Wiring Harnesses.
• Service bulletin creation in aerospace.
• Familiarity with ATA chapters and technical documentation standards such as SIDP and TDD.
• Proficiency in the design and development of electrical harness systems, including design and installation phases.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 Electrical module.
• Well versed with client specific tools: VPM, Trend, APSNG, TAKSY, GILDA, and others.
