Engineering Team Lead, Fleet Delivery

Overview

Lead the team and software systems that turn newly installed datacenter hardware into accepted, customer-ready compute clusters. The role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with hiring, coaching, and team leadership.

What you'll do

• Build a Go-based pipeline for provisioning, configuration, validation, burn-in, networking, and software installation.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop the engineering team.
• Define reusable tooling standards and datacenter delivery playbooks.
• Measure and reduce time to cluster acceptance.
• Collaborate with Hardware Design and Fleet Health on reliability.
• Manage delivery considerations for GPU fleets, InfiniBand, and RoCE fabrics.
• Plan delivery waves with product and datacenter teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
• At least 2 years leading engineers.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.
• Experience automating bare-metal fleets.
• Production experience with Go.
• Deep Linux knowledge.
• Fluency with servers, GPUs, NICs, switches, firmware, and topology diagrams.

• Travel to datacenter sites is required when needed.
