Enterprise Business Development Representative - East

Overview

Drive enterprise outbound business development for a technical security and open-source software solution. Partner with enterprise AEs to engage engineering, platform, and security stakeholders and build qualified pipeline.

What you'll do

• Map target enterprise accounts and identify entry points across security, platform, and engineering teams.
• Craft personalized technical outbound messaging for developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
• Research containers, CI/CD, and cloud environments to make outreach relevant.
• Qualify opportunities by understanding technical context, risk posture, and business priorities.
• Collaborate with AEs on account plans, messaging, and deal progression.
• Use Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, and data tools to execute outbound efficiently.
• Share market feedback and test messaging to improve engagement.

What you'll need

• At least 6 months of BDR/SDR or equivalent transferable experience.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders in technical or complex organizations.
• Strong writing skills for personalized outreach.
• Ability to learn modern software and security concepts.
• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, or similar tools.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline targets.
