Overview
Lead and operate enterprise chat platforms used by the firm globally, including platform transitions, administration, integrations, governance, and incident response.
What you'll do
- Own and operate enterprise chat platforms supporting the firm globally.
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution of chat platform transitions with front office, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Design transition approaches covering coexistence, history preservation, identity/directory mapping, integration migrations, and phased cutover plans.
- Administer and optimize chat platform environments, including provisioning, room/channel governance, and integration with internal systems.
- Ensure chat platforms align with applicable regulatory and recordkeeping requirements.
- Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, governance workflows, and operational runbooks.
- Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotations for production issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience working with enterprise chat platforms in regulated environments.
- 5 years administering chat platforms in production, including federation, regulated data workflows, bot frameworks, and API integrations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, including Teams policies, channels, federation, Graph API, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Proven ability to facilitate end-to-end integration and automation requests without performing application development.
- Working familiarity with chat platform APIs, bot frameworks, and webhooks for triage and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work onsite in New York or Stamford, CT.
